A $450M Aerospace business did not have a clear Sale strategy to support large OEMs and Tier 1 Suppliers value creation requests. To succeed, my team created a strategy that is focused on key programs, products and processes thru value and velocity. Strategy = 3P + V 2.
Team’s goal was to create a coherent Strategy playbook with a “1 pager Strategy” summary which every team member understands and follows. This was done with several F2F meeting, workshops and participation of Sales, Operations, and Engineering leadership.
We had playbook templates helping us with market analysis, Voice of Customer, capabilities SWOT, 5-year plan, and product/customer portfolio analysis. Then we organized in smaller task groups to assembled key elements for our Strategy playbook. The key to success was to align all functional leaders with a mutual goal and ownership.
3 year 14% CAGR in organic Revenue growth. Won a $80M contract over 7 years. By executing LCC Strategy solution, we achieved YoY price decrease for customer, and concurrently increased internal margin.
